Trespa Tops offer a great mix of flexibility and durability due to their high-pressure compact laminate construction. Did you know – Solid Surface Trespa Tops, specifically the TopLab Plus line of products, have been engineered to be ideal for many diverse laboratory setups.

Highlights of Solid Surface Trespa Tops:

  • They are resistant to the most aggressive chemical and cleaning products. This resistance makes the tops easy to clean and great for use in all types of labs.
  • The tops resist bacterial growth, along with being chemical resistant for up to 24-hours.
  • Trespa Tops are incredibly durable and have a scratch-resistant surface.

Stainless Steel Lab Tops

Stainless steel is one of the most stable materials you can use in your lab. This stability makes them ideal for use in cleanrooms, operating rooms, and lab environments. Stainless can be had in many different finishes including a brushed finish, a smooth finish, and an ultra-smooth electropolished finish. The electropolish finish is mostly used in ultra-clean cleanrooms due to its mirror-like sheen. Making it easy to spot foreign particulates and debris. We offer two grades of stainless, 304 and 316. 304 is a high-quality option that is great for general use. 316 offers better corrosion resistance and is most common in outdoor and marine use cases. Chemical Resistant Table Tops

Having chemical-resistant equipment is essential in most laboratories, even if the lab does not specialize in chemical work. Non-chemical-resistant laboratory tables and benches can be porous and hold onto high-strength cleaners when they are applied to their surfaces. This can lead to the equipment retaining these toxic substances and in turn creating a contaminated work surface. Chemical Resistant Surfaces

  • Solid Phenolic (Trespa): offers a non-porous surface with high levels of chemical and heat resistance.
  • Epoxy Resins: are harder than our other surfaces and do well in impact-heavy environments. If you want to modify your epoxy surfaces, you need to use special diamond tooling to machine the modifications.
  • Pionite ChemGuard: is a high-pressure laminate (HPL) is a common choice in schools, health care facilities, and other high-wear applications due to its durability and customizability. ChemGuard is usually mounted on a solid wood surface with a phenolic backing mounted on the inverse side of the wood.
  • Nevamar ChemArmor: is an HPL that is commonly used for lab benches, cabinets, and other high-traffic work surfaces. It is in conformance with NEMA LDS-2005 3.4 stain resistance and SEFA 8-PL-2010 recommended practices, section 8.1 chemical resistance, which makes it ideal for most common laboratory applications.
  • WilsonArt ChemSurf: this laminate has been designed to be able to withstand the harshest acids, bases, and solvents on the market without deteriorating. It is ideal for use in healthcare and hospitality, as it is easy to clean and dependable.

Heat Resistant Surface Tops

These types of surface tops can be essential in a variety of laboratory settings. As you know, heat can be produced by countless sources like a chemical reaction or a Bunsen burner. No matter the source, excess heat can lead to warpage or even melting of standard laboratory tables. Our industrial products can be customized with heat resistant materials.
