ESD / Static Control Shelving

RDM Industrial Products, Inc. manufactures ESD and static control shelving in Conroe, Texas: welded steel shelving units, shelving carts, flow rack and equipment rack workstations and benchtop risers whose shelf surfaces can be specified in ESD static-control laminate. They are built for electronics assembly, test and repair areas where boards and components must be stored or staged on surfaces that drain static charge, and for warehouses that want the same welded frame without the ESD surface.

The industrial-duty adjustable shelving unit uses a fully welded tubular steel frame on leveler feet, with standard widths of 30, 36, 48, 60, 72 and 96 inches, depths of 12, 18, 24, 30 and 36 inches and a standard height of 79 inches; the same unit is built as a cart on industrial-duty casters. Shelf surfaces include ESD static-control laminate, plastic laminate, solid surface, butcher block and stainless steel. Flow rack workstations hang adjustable overhead shelves tilted 5 degrees to feed parts bins to a 48, 60 or 72 inch bench. Equipment rack workstations hold standard EIA 19 inch equipment bays beside the work surface. RDM also offers wire rack configurations in chrome or electropolished Type 304 stainless steel; these are non-conductive as supplied and can be made conductive with aluminum split sleeves.
