ESD Tables / Static Control Workbenches

RDM Industrial Products, Inc. manufactures ESD tables and static control workbenches in Conroe, Texas. ESD stands for electrostatic discharge: a static-dissipative work surface drains static charge from the parts placed on it to ground, so sensitive electronic components are not damaged while they are assembled, tested or repaired. These benches are built for electronics assembly lines, test and repair stations and any area that handles printed circuit boards or static-sensitive devices.

Every ESD workbench ships with a static-control laminate top as standard, the top grounded to the frame and to a main ground wire, an ESD grounding port on each front leg and an ESD grounding cord. Standard widths are 48, 60, 72 and 96 inches, depths 30 and 36 inches, and heights 30 inches (seated), 34 inches (ADA) or 36 inches (standing); custom dimensions are built to order. Frames are welded tubular steel with a lower crossmember and adjustable leveling feet; wood frame versions with a sealed clear finish are available where a non-ferrous frame is required, and an adjustable-height i-frame model with telescoping aluminum legs adds an overhead shelf and light boom. Tech style benches carry a cantilevered upper shelf 12 to 18 inches deep, and channeled rear legs accept monitor arms, bin rails, drawers, power strips and other accessories.
