–       This table type also has different features which you can use to your advantage. Accordingly, all you need to do is just study the specific aspects that you need—and just take your pick.

–       Stainless steel tables only require minimal maintenance. As it is, you won’t have to worry about having to spend an enormous amount of money for maintenance and repair costs—and other issues.

–       Due to its inherent qualities and advantages, this table type is used for various purposes. It is typically used in laboratories, although they can be used for office, kitchen and home use as well.

Take note: In order to gain these benefits, you will not only need to make the right “moves,” but you will also need to avoid certain “sins.” This is the only way that you can ensure that you’ll get the right table that you need, at the right price.

With that in mind, here are some of the things to avoid when shopping for stainless steel work tables:

Sin#1: Not Taking Your Needs into Account

There are different types of tables for different needs. Hence, you should have a clear idea as to how you intend to use your table—in order to find the appropriate design, style or table type. In other words: You need to correlate your table with your needs.

Sin #2: Thinking that Price is the Most Important Consideration

Yes—price is important. However, you can’t make it your sole consideration when looking for a table (or other furniture piece for that matter).

Remember that one of the most important aspects of furniture is quality. Never opt for cheap, low-quality tables or furniture pieces, as they may only bring more problems in the end. If you are really on a tight budget, make sure that the table you’re intending to buy actually has the features and qualities that can help ensure durability and longevity.

Sin #3: Picking Just Any Manufacturer

If you want a good stainless steel table—you will need to deal with the right manufacturer. There’s no going around it.

Your furniture manufacturer will play a major role on how good your stainless steel workbench (or any other furniture) will be. As it is, you shouldn’t take any unnecessary risks by dealing with manufacturers that aren’t experienced or don’t have the necessary skills. And again: make sure that you’ll be investing only in high-quality tables. You deserve nothing less.

A Guide to Choosing the Right Industrial Tables

January 7, 2015

We all know that industrial tables can be a very good tool for making your workplace more efficient. However, it doesn’t mean you can just choose anything under the sun.

In order to gain the benefits that you want—you need to pick the right table for you. Accordingly, this will not only help bring efficiency to your workplace—but it is bound to make you even more productive as well.

With that in mind, here are some of the things to keep in mind when looking for industrial work tables:

Uses
In order to pick the right table type—you will need to know or at least understand how you intend to use them. Accordingly, this will make it easier for you to decide on which work table to invest on.

For example: Will you be using your table for drafting? If so, then a light table just might be a good option. Or are you looking for something more heavy-duty? Then an industrial table just might be the one you’re looking for.

Materials
The materials composing your table can either make or break your investment. As it is, you should never neglect this aspect.

Again, you will need to correlate your prospective table with how you intend to use it. You need to make sure that the materials composing your table will actually be appropriate for its purpose.

For example: Stainless steel is obviously stronger than wood. So, in cases of heavy duty tasks, then this might be the better option for you. Glass table surfaces (although easier to clean) won’t really work for woodworking and other related fields. On the other hand, glass surfaces can be a good choice for drawing, architecture or sketching. In short: Make your choice based on your needs.

Features
Different industrial work tables have different features. And again: if you want to pick the right table type, you will need to relate it with your specific requirements. The more specific you are—the better for you.

For example: Some tables are actually chemical resistant, which means they can be a good option for laboratory use. Adjustable height tables can be adjusted according to one’s height requirements—and that means they can be a good option for those who want more flexibility. There are many other features available for you. Study them and take your pick.

Manufacturer
Remember the rule: Only deal with reputable manufacturers. Don’t take unnecessary risks by going for particular manufacturers based on their cheap prices alone. Always go for those that offer value. You deserve only high quality industrial tables—and you can only get them from those who have the experience and expertise. So, don’t shortchange yourself. Only get tables that will serve your needs, the way you need them.

Drafting and Drawing Tables: What You Need to Know About Them

January 2, 2015

There are many types of tables that you can use for drawing, painting and other related activities.

It is worthy to note though, that there are different benefits to each type of table. As it is, you should take the time to understand what each brings to the forefront—in order to reap the advantages that you really want.

Here are some good examples of drafting and drawing tables:

Drafting Tables

This table type can be quite advantageous for cartographers, architects, painters, artists and other similar professionals who need to make use of tables that are able to handle their work—and will help them perform in a more efficient manner.

Incidentally, there are two main types of drafting tables to take note of:

  • Adjustable drafting table – this table type can actually be adjusted according to one’s height preferences, which makes it quite useful—most especially for those who need to be more accurate when performing their respective tasks.

  • Fixed Drafting Tables – as implied by the name, this table has a fixed table height. This table type can still be quite useful, despite the lack in adjustable features. To make this work, however—you will need to take note of your required dimensions and height, as well as the additional features that you may need.

Note: Drafting tables (both adjustable and fixed types) usually have more space compared to traditional desks, thereby allowing you to have a bigger area to work in. Some also provide additional features, such as pencil and brush holders, and other related add-ons.

Drawing Tables

This table is somewhat similar to drafting tables, considering that it also offers an appropriate size for drawing or drafting projects. This table also provides a large, smooth and flat surface, where you can work on large paper pads, boards or other drawing tools.

Drawing tables usually have edges that are designed to work easily with T-squares, in order to ensure greater accuracy. Usually, this table is a bit smaller compared to drafting tables—although you can always opt for custom designs and sizes, if you have special needs.

Light Tables

Using a light table for drawing can be a very good idea, most especially if you are using pictures, slides, tracing papers or other similar materials for your projects.

A drafting light table is actually designed to offer a subtle light on the surface. As it is, any paper, picture or slide you place on top of it will become semi-transparent—and easier to trace and work on. Obviously, this table type can be quite useful, most especially for those who are constantly working on plans, paintings and other related projects.

You can opt to use glass, plexiglass or other materials for the surface of your drafting light table. However, it would be best if you took into account your specific needs and uses, in order to pick the right option and table type for you.

Do You Need New Workplace Furniture? Let’s Find Out…

December 11, 2014

Workplace furniture can surprisingly be quite useful, provided that you make your “investment” at the right time.

The question now is: how do we know if it’s time to get new furniture? How do we make sure that our furniture purchase won’t go to waste?

To find out, please read on:

Increased Productivity

According to some studies, productivity can actually be affected by how good (or bad) one’s workplace is. Incidentally, furniture plays a big part in one’s working environment.

Think about it: People oftentimes work in their desks all day. This is where they complete reports, write, work on their PCs or do other activities on a constant basis. Hence, if your work desk isn’t really up to par anymore, then it might be high time to invest in new furniture.

Tip: If you are looking to invest in new furniture, a good suggestion would be height adjustable work desks. This table type actually has adjustable features, which means users can use it in the working positions they prefer. Accordingly, this table also has health benefits in store, ranging from better blood circulation, reduced backaches and other related advantages.

Comfort

Let’s face it: people who are working in an environment that’s a bit more comfortable and conducive for work—will be more motivated to do what needs to be done. As it is, you might want to consider this aspect as well, when deciding to invest in new furniture or not.

Tip: When purchasing furniture, don’t base your decision on comfort alone. Try to look into other aspects as well, such as durability, materials, features and other related details. This will help keep issues to a minimum, and will likewise ensure that you’ll be getting more out of your furniture.

Maintenance Costs

If you are using old, dilapidated furniture, chances are you are spending quite a lot on furniture repairs and maintenance. Unfortunately, when you are using old furniture pieces, you can expect repairs and maintenance to become more often (and more expensive) over time.

Tip: Do the math. If you’re seeing that maintenance and repair costs are getting too high, then it might be time to get new furniture. However, this time, it would be better to invest in pieces that are really durable.

One good example of a durable furniture type is industrial furniture. This furniture is made of industrial components, which means it can actually last you for a very long time. In addition, this furniture type also requires minimal maintenance and repairs—which could mean a lot of savings for you in the long run.

These are just some of the things to keep note of, when deciding if it’s time to get new workplace furniture or not.

Just remember: If you do decide to invest in new furniture, pick your choices carefully. Get furniture pieces that are designed to last—and only deal with manufacturers who actually know what to do. This will help you minimize untoward risks, and will help you maximize potential benefits as well.

Common Furniture Problems and How to Avoid Them

December 2, 2014

Furniture is very important to the workplace, considering how useful it can be.

However, fact of the matter is: if we don’t choose the right furniture types, then there’s a high chance that we’ll end up with a lot of problems along the way. And when that happens, we will not only have to deal with more issues, but unnecessary costs as well.

With that in mind, here are some common furniture problems to avoid—and how we can try to resolve them:

Investing in furniture without the needed research can actually be a risky move. It can actually cause you to spend an enormous amount of money on furniture that don’t really comply with your requirements—or worse, pieces that you didn’t need in the first place.

Solution: Make a careful assessment of what you need. The more you’re able to understand your needs, the easier for you to find the right furniture pieces to use later on.

Problem #2: Easily Depreciating Furniture Pieces

Another problem that many people run into is when they purchase particular furniture pieces thinking that these will last them for a long time, and end up getting pieces that aren’t really as durable as they should be.

Solution: Invest in furniture pieces that are designed for longevity. A good example is industrial furniture, a furniture type that is composed of high-grade industrial components (e.g. stainless steel), thereby making it very durable—and meant to last.

Problem #3: Lack of Features

Some people who buy furniture have specific features in mind. Unfortunately, some pieces just don’t seem to fit the bill.

Solution: Again, you need to do your research. There are actually quite a number of furniture pieces that have been made with specific features, for added benefits. Example: adjustable height work tables, desks with CPU holders, lightweight cabinets, and many other options.

Problem #4: High Costs

This problem is one that many furniture purchasers usually face. However, fact of the matter is: if you choose your investments wisely, then you will be able to have more savings.

Solution: Only deal with the right manufacturers. The more reputable the (traditional or industrial furniture) manufacturer is—the more reasonable the rates are bound to be.

Take note though: although price is always important, don’t make it your sole consideration for making a purchase. Always opt for value. It’s always better to go for furniture that aren’t really as cheap as others, but will actually last for a longer time. In other words: get high quality furniture, at reasonable rates. That would certainly be the better move.

These are just some of the common furniture problems that people usually face, as well as the applicable solutions to help resolve them. In the end, what’s important is that you’re able to make the right furniture investment for your intended purposes, and reap the best benefits you deserve.

Only Deal with the Right Manufacturers

Because of the growing demand for this furniture type, you can reasonably expect a lot of manufacturers to start claiming that they have the best pieces around. Sadly, that isn’t the case at all.
